I am pissed! While hanging out on a pro-gun forum today, I was stunned to see that one of my fellow freedom fighters (I thought) was advocating putting someone who was a "subversive" on a government watch list!
Subversives are the folks that are sick of how those in power are running things. They speak out and sometimes act out in defiance of the "establishment". They have tried working within the system and it accomplished nothing so they had to turn "outlaw". Now, even the words they speak (or type) are enough to lock them up.
Okay, I'll play. ;-)
I love the United States but believe that we have a Federal Government that is out of control.
I think that a government that is of, by and for the people should not reside temples made for gods. Compare any capital building to a Greek temple and you will see what I mean. What was the purpose of the temples? They were a place were "gods" could dwell among mortals yet be set apart in all their splendor. Commoners would go to these temples to give offerings and worship so that the "gods" would be kind to them. If the "gods" were appeased by your subservience, they would give you power and authority. If they did not, you would loose your wealth, family, freedom or even your life! Sounds just like our government.
